The MCU online banking service grants MCU clients the freedom to perform financial transactions at home, or wherever they feel it’s convenient. The MCU online banking service allows clients to store and easily access bank statements, payment logs and transaction history from their home computer or even phone. This guide offers step-by-step instructions on how to access your MCU account, and what to do if you encounter any trouble during the sign in process.
MCU Online Banking Login
Accessing your MCU online banking account is quite simple and intuitive. We have outlined the login steps below.
- Go to nymcu.org, the main MCU website
- In the upper right corner of the main page, you should see a lock icon with the words ‘Log In’ written underneath. Click on that icon
- A dialog box will appear. Choose the type of account you want to access. Online Banking is default account type
- Click on the yellow ‘Log In’ button
- Alternatively, you can click the ‘Log In’ button located on the left of the screen
- You will be redirected to the online banking login menu. Write your User ID and password in the two fields of the menu
- Press the yellow ‘Login’ button to access your account
MCU Mobile Login Instructions
You MCU online banking account is also available on mobile devices. There are two ways in which you can access your MCU account using a mobile device. You sign in using the browser app, or you can download the dedicated mobile app. We will describe the login steps for each in the following sections.
To access your online banking account using the browser app on your phone:
- Open your browser app and go to nycmcu.org
- Tap the yellow ‘Log In’ button on the left
- Write your User ID and Password in the appropriate fields
- Tap the Login button again to enter your account.
Accessing you online banking account using your phone browser is quite simple. However, it’s even easier to sign in to your account using the MCU mobile app. The MCU mobile app is available for Android and Apple devices. We will discuss the login process for each in the sections below.
MCU Mobile Login Instructions for Apple Devices
- Locate and download the MCU online banking app compatible with Apple devices. You can find the app either at the MCU website or on iTunes.
- Install the app on the device you want to use it on
- If your device support Touch ID, you can enable it the first time you open the MCU app
- If you have Touch ID enabled, press your finger against the dialogue box to access your account
- In case you don’t have Touch ID, or you don’t want to use it, click ‘Cancel’
- Provide your User ID number and password
- Tap the log in button to complete the process and access your account
MCU Mobile Login Instructions for Android Devices
- Go to nymcu.org, in the Online & Mobile banking section and click on the Google Play link. Alternatively, you can go straight to Google Play
- Find and download the MCU online banking app.
- Install it on your phone or tablet
- Tap the MCU app icon
- Press your finger against the screen, to log in using Touch ID
- Tap ‘Cancel’ if you don’t want to use Touch ID, or if it is not enabled
- Type in your User ID
- Type in your password
- Tap the ‘Log In’ button
MCU Online Banking Login Issues
The most common issue users experience while trying to access their MCU online banking account is forgetting either their User ID, password, or both.
Recovering either your User ID or your password is very easy. Before you can even log in to your account, you will notice two links below the drop down menu. Click on the appropriate link. You will have to write your account number in order to recover your User ID or receive a new, one-time use password. You can change this password after you’ve accessed your account.
